Ramazan Yaman was born in 1912 and was a man who loved to work and produce throughout his life. Living in a small village in the 1950s, Yaman was not just a farmer. He also did carpentry, built the houses, schools, and mosques of the town and nearby villages, and was even skilled enough to build his mill. This mill, powered by a diesel engine, met the flour needs of the people while also allowing Yaman to produce timber, which was driven by a single diesel engine in the same place. Using motorcycles was quite rare at that time. Yaman’s German-made NSU brand motorcycle was an exception. However, a traffic accident in 1955 brought this entrepreneurial life to an early end. Yaman’s death deeply saddened his family and left them in a difficult situation in every way. His son Muharrem YAMAN (1934-2014) worked as a construction foreman, one of his father’s professions, for many years to pay for his children’s education. Grandfather Ramazan Yaman’s entrepreneurial spirit continued in his son Muharrem and grandson Ramazan Yaman (1963 – …). The TZi initiative was launched in 2019 with the support of Ramazan Yaman’s friends and his son Emir Can Yaman.<\/p>
